Development and construction of pump test benches

Pump Test Benches for Development, Acceptance Testing, and End-of-Line Testing: MERECS Engineering has been developing and building customized pump test benches for development, quality assurance, and automated end-of-line operation for many years. Our systems are designed for reliable continuous operation and enable precise, reproducible testing of a wide variety of pump types. Typical measured variables include pressure, flow rate, speed, and torque. Automatic differential pressure control ensures reproducible test conditions and the automated acquisition of QH characteristic curves. NPSH and cavitation tests according to DIN EN ISO 17769, as well as hydraulic acceptance tests according to DIN EN ISO 9906, can also be integrated. For special applications, we also perform tests on oil pumps, for example. MERECS handles the complete implementation of the test bench – from consulting, specifications, and system design to mechanical and electrical engineering, software development, assembly, and commissioning. Piping, tanks, valves, and fittings are designed according to the requirements. Risk assessment and the required CE conformity are also taken into account. The testing software, based on NI LabVIEW, enables automated test sequences, intuitive visualization, and the generation of test reports. Manual operation functions for individual valves and actuators simplify setup and maintenance. Multilingual user interfaces, barcode and QR code capture, as well as database and ERP connections can be easily integrated. For flexible and scalable automation, we rely on NI CompactRIO and Beckhoff EtherCAT, among other technologies, as well as safety controllers from established manufacturers. From initial planning to training, maintenance, calibration, and remote support, MERECS accompanies the entire lifecycle of the test bench – ensuring reliable test results and an efficient, long-term testing process.
