Motion simulation for automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, and defense industries: MERECS Engineering develops customized testing and automation systems for motion simulation – as a general contractor, handling everything from requirements analysis and system design to commissioning and long-term support. Our solutions combine motion simulation and positioning systems from established manufacturers with custom-developed mechanics, measurement technology, testing software, and safety technology. Typical applications include the development, calibration, and production of inertial sensors, MEMS, semiconductor devices, electromechanical systems, and LRUs. Depending on the application, test specimens are subjected to specific angular velocity, acceleration, position, and temperature. We implement both high-precision development and calibration systems and automated end-of-line test benches for large production runs – for example, for 128 sensors per test. MERECS handles the complete technical implementation: We analyze requirements, select the appropriate motion system, and, if necessary, examine critical components using FEM analysis. This ensures positioning accuracy, repeatability, and mechanical resilience as early as the development phase. We develop the necessary measurement technology, testing software, and test automation tailored to each specific application. Using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand, we create flexible and efficient solutions, even with a high degree of product variety and demanding measurement tasks. Databases and ERP systems can also be integrated. This results in precise, robust, and scalable motion simulation systems, perfectly suited to the requirements of the automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, and defense industries.
