Combined Product Portfolio for Defense Technology At the exhibition stand, BOPLA and ROSE will present their combined product portfolio for the defense sector for the first time. The focus is on high-quality aluminum enclosures in various NATO coatings, which are consistently designed for military applications and can be customized individually. Whether in vehicles, on ships, or in aircraft, these enclosures protect sensitive electronics and control systems even under the most extreme conditions, delivering exactly the level of robustness required in safety-critical environments. Another highlight is transparent film heaters for visors, cameras, drones, and sensors. They keep viewing areas free from condensation and ice, ensuring that systems remain operational at all times. Thanks to their particularly lightweight and thin design, they can be easily installed even on curved or contoured surfaces. The underlying metal mesh technology, featuring integrated silver conductors and a coating of ultra-thin copper and carbon nanotubes, not only enables operation at low voltages but also provides electrical shielding for displays. Heating and shielding functions can thus be combined, offering comprehensive protection for sensitive display, camera, and sensor systems.

      The range extends the two big B 2330 (239 mm x 300 mm) and B 2736 (284 mm x 364 mm) enclosure types by a height of 160 mm. Mathias Bünte, from BOPLA, explains: “The new Bocube enclosures can now also accept automation components, for example our CombiNorm DIN rail enclosures. This makes them ideal for use as mini switch cabinets for decentral control technology in industrial automation.” In addition, our B 2613 enclosure with the intermediate size of 271 mm x 125 mm x 60 mm (L x W x H) completes the range. Matthias Bünte continues: “This enclosure, which was originally designed for a specific customer, was requested so often that we decided to include it in our product range.” Their elegant design and sophisticated mechanical construction ensure that the sturdy, graphite or light grey industrial enclosures really stand out. Thanks to the unique patented hinged catch, the screwless fitting of the lid takes place very easily and extremely quickly – no need for special tools! The lid can be swivelled upwards, and the hinge side can be selected as required. The enclosures made of high-density flame-resistant or self-extinguishing ABS and polycarbonate UL 94 V0 materials are especially sturdy mechanically. Even in their standard version, they provide IP 68 protection class. The patented coloured hinged catches and the captive opaque or crystal-clear lids complete the unique range of features and components of the Bocube industrial enclosures. With these additional enclosure sizes, the Bocube series now consists of 26 basic sizes and 150 standard combination options. More special sizes or combinations can be produced on request.

      All the Polysafe enclosures‘ external components are made of plastic, so they give maximum protection against corrosion. They withstand temperatures of up to 960°C and are halogen-free and self-extinguishing. In addition, a protective cover integrated in the enclosure protects the interior against moisture by preventing water from dripping inside when the door is opened. The door itself is available in two types – with and without a viewing window. It can be adjusted to open by 180° to the left or right, and can easily be disassembled if required. Internally-mounted hinges guarantee a high level of mechanical protection and stability. A reliable locking system provides protection class of up to IP66/DIN EN 60529. Various locks are available and can be exchanged at any time by the end user. The light switch cabinet enclosures are easy and quick to install. External screw channels make direct wall mounting easy. The electronics enclosures are available in 8 sizes from 300 x 250 x 140 mm up to 800 x 600 x 300 mm (L x W x H). Under normal environmental conditions, they will not require servicing for more than 10 years. They are impact resistant in accordance with test class IK10 acc. to IEC 62262. They can be supplied ex-warehouse in light grey (similar to RAL 7035) and in special colours on request. As with all BOPLA enclosures, the Polysafe series also offers a comprehensive range of accessories, including a metal stand for installation devices, mounting panels, wall brackets, safety locks and many more.

Backlit Profiline for the highest standards Whether vehicle technology, payment systems or medical technology – thanks to its long operating life, low energy consumption and optimal ease of use, the backlit Profiline membrane keypad is at home in many sectors. The space-saving technology used here incorporates dual-function key inlays which also act as a light guide. A special RGB LED allows a key to light up in various colours – a very wide range of mixed colours in addition to red, green and blue. In this way, different displays are possible inside a single key. Even light distribution In addition, with its NLF backlight (Night-Light-Foil) and EL foils (electro-luminescence foils) BOPLA offers two more technologies for even light distribution.. With the use of LEDs, NLF technology makes it possible to realise almost all back-lighting requirements in robust, compact and effective ways, from the single key to a large area. A low mechanical height and mechanical flexibility are additional advantages. EL foils also emit homogeneous light over the entire surface. Normally EL membranes are less than 0.3 mm thick, so they are extremely space-saving.
