Embedded data GmbH has expanded the alerting capabilities of its david IoT platform. The updates in July and August are specifically designed for companies that operate technical systems across multiple locations, teams, or areas of responsibility. They help ensure that important messages reach the right people faster and reduce recurring administrative tasks.

Industrial IoT systems constantly generate technical states, measurements, and events that require responses from service or operations teams. Crucially, it's not just about triggering an alarm, but also about ensuring it reaches the correct personnel. Therefore, david IoT provides greater support for working with user groups: alarm notifications can be sent to teams rather than just individuals. This allows for better mapping of responsibilities, such as for service, operations, or technical administration.

For operators of larger plant environments, recurring alarm management is also simplified. Alarm rules can be prepared and reused, enabling similar systems or monitoring areas to be equipped with appropriate notifications more quickly. This reduces manual rework during expansions and helps establish consistent alerting across multiple locations or teams. Notifications can also be better adapted to the daily work routines of international teams, as alarm emails and push notifications are based on the respective users' language settings.
