Spectra PowerBox 3000E

Compact and flexible embedded PC at the highest level Every application in mechanical and plant engineering is different and often requires a compact and flexible embedded PC. The embedded PCs in the Spectra PowerBox 3000 series have been meeting these requirements since the first generation. In the current generation of the Spectra PowerBox 3000E series, Comet Lake processors are used in conjunction with the Intel® W480E chipset. There are numerous high-performance processor variants to choose from, including the 65-watt Core™ i9-10900E with 10 cores and up to 4.7 GHz or the 80-watt Xeon® W-1270E processor with 8 cores and 4.8 GHz. In the highest configuration level, an external, temperature-controlled PWM fan is used in full load operation, otherwise the box PCs in the Spectra PowerBox 3000E series operate without a fan. A “feel-good LED” indicates at all times whether the internal temperature of the system is within the permissible operating temperature range. Two DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM up to 64 GB support the powerful processors. The integrated Intel® UHD-630 graphics chip enables the connection of three independent displays, which are controlled via HDMI, VGA and DisplayPorts. Depending on the model, a graphics card up to a format of 235 mm x 111 mm with a maximum output of 110 watts can be installed. This can be perfectly tempered with an optional air circulation fan kit. With the Spectra PowerBox 3000E series, you can choose between three installation heights. Depending on the model, up to two PCI/PCIe plug-in cards and three additional Mini PCIe modules can be used for individual adaptations to the application. Additional interface cut-outs are already provided for this purpose. Optional extensions with 4 x GbE or 4 x PoE are easily possible via plug-and-play. In total, up to 20 LAN connections can be realized. Thanks to the large selection of extensions, the PowerBox can be adapted very easily and flexibly to your application.

    7. Spectra PowerBox 420

      Spectra PowerBox 420

Embedded PC for demanding AI applications Sophisticated AI applications in industry require a suitable computer platform to run multiple processes in the shortest possible time and/or in real time - a so-called Edge AI system. The Spectra PowerBox 420 is a very powerful industrial Edge AI Box PC. Depending on the application, you can choose between different 12th generation processors (Alder Lake) from Core i9 to Celeron. The 12th processor generation is particularly effective due to its hybrid architecture with performance and efficiency cores. The performance cores are used for demanding tasks, while the efficiency cores handle the less intensive tasks. And all this with a maximum TPD of 65W (for Core i9). Alder Lake supports DDR5 memory with 4800 MHz up to 64 GB. Combined with ECC technology, which supports the additional stability and reliability required for industrial automation applications and effectively reduces the risk of failures and data loss. Thanks to the integrated Intel® Deep Learning Boost function (Intel® DL Boost) with VNNI instructions, the execution of deep learning workloads is particularly optimized. The Intel® Xe architecture of the UHD 770 graphics chip boosts GPU performance in image classification to 2.8 times the speed of the Comet Lake-S platform and provides the processing power required for edge AI computing. The PowerBox 420 offers two GLAN ports as well as 4x USB 3.2 Gen2 and 4x USB3.2 Gen1. In addition, it provides you with a wide range of native I/O interfaces and supports optional I/O extensions such as LAN, M12, DIO and COM. And to meet the rapidly growing demand for wireless networking in industrial applications, additional WiFi, GNSS, 4G and Bluetooth can be realized with one M.2 key E slot and two mini PCIe slots.

      Spectra PowerBox 5000

IMAGE PROCESSING IN A NEW DIMENSION Modern processes in industrial AI and machine vision are closely linked to image processing. This requires industrial PC systems with CPU and GPU performance large enough to process the tasks in real time. The Spectra PowerBox 5000 high-end GPU computing system opens the doors to a whole new dimension in image processing. It consists of a basic system that can be expanded with up to two modular GPU expansion boxes. With the help of this modular design, you can scale the system to suit your requirements. The excellent computing power of the base system is based on Intel® Xeon® or Core™ i3/i5/i7 (Coffee Lake-R) CPUs of the 9th generation and an Intel® C246 chipset as well as two DDR4-2666 ECC/non-ECC SO-DIMM up to 64 GB. The compact PC also has four 2.5" hot-swap SATA SSDs and has an M.2 M-key socket for NVMe SSD storage. By means of expansion cards, you can realise additional I/Os or further functionalities, such as 8 x GbE LAN/PoE, 6 x USB 3.2 and 2 x 10 GbE LAN. The GPU expansion boxes, which are simply plugged on to the base system, offer space when expanded to the maximum for two 250 W graphics cards with a length of 328 mm or other PCIe expansion cards. The total power consumption is 720 W max. Of course, these high performance requirements also demand a corresponding cooling concept. Effective heat dissipation is achieved by the special enclosure structure and the use of insulated external smart fan kits on both sides of the enclosure. The industrial usability of the high-end GPU computer is additionally supported by the mechanical construction of the compact PC, which ensures high shock and vibration resistance, and by the wide current input range of 9 to 48 V.

    10. Spectra PowerTwin Series

      Spectra PowerTwin Series

PANEL PC OR MONITOR: READY TO RUN User-friendly, industry-oriented, resource-efficient, repair- and maintenance-friendly: this describes the panel PCs and monitors of the Spectra PowerTwin series. The models are characterized by a modular design that supports individual assembly for different application scenarios in the industrial environment. They are based on a modular principle in which the two main components of a panel PC or monitor - the display and the system unit (PC or monitor module) - are designed as independent logical units. All components are compatible with each other and can be combined via a uniform plug-in connection system. Only the desired system unit has to be plugged into the display in the selected size and an individually assembled panel PC is "ready-to-run". The modular design guarantees problem-free, cost-efficient adaptation at any time. The very wide display selection includes display diagonals from 8.4" to 24" in the standard version. Sunreadable versions with UV-resistant H7 tempered glass are available in 8" to 19". Additional widescreen variants from 15" to 24" complete the range. The operating technology can also be chosen between multi-touch, analog resistive or without touch. The PC modules of the Spectra PowerTwin series offer a wide selection of processors, ranging from Intel® Atom™ to Core™ i of the 9th generation. In all variants, operation is fanless. All models are designed for use as operating and control platforms in industrial environments and guarantee reliable operation even under high mechanical and thermal environmental influences. The PowerTwin series is also suitable for industrial use due to its wide range voltage input from 9 to 48 VDC and the robust IP65 front.
