      Shaft guidance systems

Shaft guidance systems for linear, short stroke and rotary movement For more than 45 years, we have been offering a comprehensive range of round rail and shaft guide systems. Our products are manufactured partly in‑house and partly in close cooperation with long‑standing partners, incorporating the expertise of leading manufacturers. For linear motion applications, we supply ball bushings in closed, slotted, and open designs. In addition, our portfolio includes flanged ball bushings in various configurations as well as complete bearing units with aluminum or cast iron housings. For combined, unlimited linear and rotational motion, our rotary ball bushings are available, while low‑friction short‑stroke ball bushings are designed for fast, limited linear and rotational movements. For anti‑rotation shaft guidance, we offer a wide selection of torque ball bushings that ensure backlash‑free guidance even under high loads and tilting moments. Our range is completed by hardened and precision‑ground steel shafts supplied as solid, hollow, or inch shafts—optionally hard‑chrome plated or stainless steel—as well as matching shaft supports and shaft blocks made of aluminum or cast iron.

    2. SHARCaudio

      SHARCaudio

The SHARCaudio module is a very small, low-cost, audio processor system which can be operated in stand-alone or embedded applications. It comes with a powerful 200MHz (266MHz optional) SHARC DSP and a 24-bit stereo audio codec (> 100dB dynamic range) with line-in and line-out channels, an S/PDIF interface, I²C, UART and SPI for best connectivity. The system was designed for use in high-end sound processing applications such as equalizers, feedback suppressors, limiters, effect processors, exciters and other studio and stage applications. An auxiliary 8-channel A/D converter can be used to control parameters using analog inputs rather than via a micro-controller. Nonetheless, the DSP can be controlled via its UART, I²C or SPI interface. These interfaces may also be used to control a keypad or LCD display. Using the S/PDIF interface, the module is capable of mixing audio sources from the analog and the digital domain. With a size of only 1.0” x 2.0”, the board will fit every embedded application. The module can be mounted directly to the target via its SMT-pads or via optional 100 mil (2.54mm) pin headers. All special function pins (eight total) can also be used as general purpose I/O pins. Two FLAG pins are software programmable as either input or output.

Particularly at the site of value creation, you can use digitalization to create new milestones in the continuous improvement process within your company. After all, standardized, digital visualization systems not only ensure a transparent exchange of information, they also make communication more efficient. With Peakboard, you can communicate real-time information from various data sources directly on a dashboard for managers and executives to see. This means that everyone knows the state of the process, uniformly, across all departments, and in real time, so important information is not lost anymore. Transparent system of key figures in production Often, key figures and analyses are arduously collected, printed, and handed out in the classically analog way. As a result, most of the information is already outdated before your staff even receives it. Peakboard gives you a simple and scalable solution that allows you to implement your digital shop floor management board in just a few easy steps. Link and communicate complex data between MES and ERP systems and IoT machine data – in real time! This way, you always have a clear overview of your operational processes. Create clear and concise monitoring of your key figures from production, such as OEE, downtimes, scrap rates or cycle times View key figures, daily targets, and progress in real time Use Peakboard Hub to store your data so you will be able to analyze and evaluate it afterwards

    4. Shortron connect - small & robust

Shortron connect - small & robust

Quick and simple: Beside the costs, time also plays an important role in the planning of projects. SHORTRON connect with direct M12 connection enables a simple, fast and, above all, safe installation of the pushbuttons and switches, because the M12 connection technology is designed in such a way that a reverse or incorrect polarity of the connections is not possible - based on the plug & work principle: plug in and start. In addition, no separate contact element is being needed as it already is integrated in the switch. Completely protected: For the use of SHORTRON connect, an expensive and time-consuming installation of an enclosure is no longer necessary as the IP65 / IP67 protection degree provides a reliable protection against water and dust, in the front as well as on the rear. This principle not only saves costs but also space, especially if the ergonomic SHORTRON connect mounting brackets are being used. They are designed for a simple and quick assembly on 40 mm profiles. By means of the 90° mounting bracket for vertical mounting, as well as the 135° mounting bracket for horizontal mounting, the pushbuttons and switches can be placed and organised as per customer's requirement. Also existing workstations can be expanded in the simplest way. For this purpose mounting brackets in three different versions with 1, 2 or 3 holes are available. Small with design: With a mounting depth of only 33.7 mm (emergency stop 26.7 mm), SHORTRON connect also has the typical compact design of the product family and is therefore ideally suitable for the use in machines, panels and operating units that are increasingly becoming smaller. It has also been taken care to maintain the familiar flat and attractive design of the series, so in addition to the silver-coloured and black front rings also the exclusive version with stainless steel front ring is available.

    5. SHORTRON emergency-stop with 4-pole M12 cable connection

      SHORTRON emergency-stop with 4-pole M12 cable connection

Georg Schlegel GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its SHORTRON M12 series with an emergency-stop for panel cutout 22.3 mm. The small and compact FRVKOO_M001 with twist release has the degree of protection IP65/IP67 in the front and IP65 on the rear and thus is also suitable for water-splash environments. The emergency-stop´s two contacts (AgNi) are constructed as normally closed contacts (NC) with positive opening according to EN60947-5-1. The emergency-stop has a life cycle of up to 50.000 switching cycles and is designed for a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C. This allows a reliable switching in numerous application fields. The 4-pole M12 connector is A-coded and connected to the emergency-stop via a 25 cm long PUR-cable. The electrical characteristics range from an operating voltage of max. Ue 35 V and operating currents of Ie 4A (AC15) resp. Ie 2A (DC13). The FRVKOO_M001 complies with the standards EN ISO 13850 and EN 60947-5-5.

    8. Sila-Coat and stainless steel for motors and worm gearboxes

Sila-Coat and stainless steel for motors and worm gearboxes

For demanding sectors such as the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, Groschopp offers customized motors and worm gearboxes specifically engineered for hygiene-critical environments. The focus is on two housing options and their flexible combination, designed to withstand strict cleaning requirements and aggressive environmental influences. The innovative Sila-Coat coating serves as a highly cost-effective solution. In this process, the drive components are sealed using a specialized electrophoretic dip coating. The result is an extremely smooth, non-stick surface that offers significantly higher corrosion and alkali resistance than traditional hard anodizing. Because sticky residues struggle to adhere to it, cleaning time and detergent consumption in production are drastically reduced. For areas subject to extreme mechanical stress—where cracks or flaking must be avoided at all costs—robust housings made of pure stainless steel are available. These are completely resistant to intensive high-pressure washdowns and aggressive chemicals. Despite their enclosed design, the drives achieve outstanding performance figures thanks to optimized cooling concepts. For instance, a convection-cooled stainless steel induction motor reaches an output power of 120 Watts, while the water-cooled variant delivers up to 470 Watts. For dynamic servomotors, water cooling even allows for a peak performance of up to 2,600 Watts at a speed of 6,000 rpm. A key advantage of the system lies in its modular flexibility. Since not every part of a production line is exposed to the same mechanical stresses, the components can be freely combined using a modular system. This allows a stainless steel motor to be easily paired with a Sila-Coat-coated gearbox, ensuring a perfect balance of maximum hygiene, robustness, and cost-efficiency.
