Fiber Optic Units The fiber optic units are available in 9 head types (thread, cylindrical, flat, L-shaped, plastic, perpendicular, stainless steel, U-shaped, area detection), and 7 cable types (standard, flexible, break-resistant, heat-resistant, vacuum-resistant, fully waterproof, built-in lens) for flexible installation in diverse environments. A wide variety of head types and cable types allow flexible adaptation to diverse detection environments and installation conditions.

The DFL Ventus Marker from the Business Fiber product series is ideal for marking metals. This high-performance fibre laser offers variable pulse widths for challenging applications. Its exceptional beam quality obtains outstanding marking results. All its optical, electronic and mechanical components are integrated in a compact housing. The laser head can be detached as required. The Business Fibre series offers users a choice of power output levels between 20 and 70 W.

The fieldbus product portfolio includes I/O modules and I/O systems for applications in the Ex and non-Ex area. The modules and systems are available in protection class IP67 for installation in the field as well as in protection class IP20 for cabinet mounting. You have the choice between PROFIBUS-DP, PROFIBUS-PA, Foundation fieldbus, DeviceNet, CANopen and Modbus RTU/ASCII as well as the Ethernet protocols PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP and EtherCAT. The FIT LASER is a compact, all-in-one solution that combines all the necessary components and protective devices for marking components directly on your production line in a simple, safe, and cost-effective way. This fully integrated marking unit was specifically designed to meet the demands of modern manufacturing processes. Weighing only 13 kg, the FIT LASER is particularly compact and easy to integrate. Connection to your system control system is via a single Profinet, Profibus, or Ethernet IP connection, significantly simplifying commissioning and saving time. The FIT LASER meets the requirements of laser class 1. To protect bystanders, the laser beam is enclosed in a radiation-tight tunnel. The marking field is available in various sizes, including 30 × 30 mm, 50 × 50 mm, 60 × 30 mm, and 100 × 30 mm – other sizes are available upon request. A mechanical compensation system integrated into the system ensures consistently high marking quality – without the need for sensitive electronic autofocus solutions. It compensates for positioning deviations of the robot arms, tolerance fluctuations of the workpieces, and variations in component dimensions. This ensures the ideal focus distance is always maintained and the marking is precise and reliable. To ensure continuous and trouble-free operation of the FIT LASER, even under demanding production conditions, the system features special protective features such as access to the protective glass of the lens and an integrated extraction system for smoke and fine dust particles. This equipment ensures a long service life and minimizes maintenance requirements and downtime.

flexAssistant is the digital worker guidance system from SOMA and maps manual work steps completely digitally: from production to packaging to documentation. In the process, flexAssistant coordinates complex processes and all production sequences in the factory, helps train employees and guides your staff in assembly and production.
