The Walther Valve Controller (WVC) is a compact control unit for spray, pulse and dosing valves, combining valve control and process monitoring in a single device. Designed for modern production environments, it is ideally suited for Industry 4.0 applications.
Individual control for stable dosing processes: The WVC regulates key parameters such as opening and closing times with precision and repeatability. Preconfigured settings are available for each application type – pulsing, spraying or dosing. Additional components and sensors such as temperature, pressure or stroke monitoring can be integrated via freely configurable interfaces, eliminating the need for external controllers.
Advanced process monitoring: All parameters are recorded, documented and analysed in real time. Based on defined limits, warnings or alarms can be triggered. This enables early detection of process deviations, improving product quality, process capability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
User-friendly interface: Configuration is carried out via a password-protected web dashboard accessible from PC, tablet or smartphone. Intuitive visualisation ensures easy operation, while key parameters can also be retrieved and adjusted directly via the HMI – without expert knowledge or programming skills.
Seamless integration: The WVC can be integrated into higher-level automation systems via digital I/Os or Modbus TCP.
The WVC is available in three variants:
BASIC: Control of spray, pulse and dosing valves incl. heating technology.
ADVANCED: Additional sensor integration for increased process reliability.
PROFESSIONAL: Extended monitoring incl. flow control.
Optional software add-ons such as Modbus or multi-parameter sets can be activated at any time via licence code, ensuring maximum flexibility.
