twinstudio is an integrated toolkit for the easy creation, management and visualisation of Digital Twins – from Asset Administration Shells (AAS) and submodels to templates. As part of the twinsphere suite, it is designed for both beginners and experienced users, enabling a fast and efficient start through guided workflows, real-time validation and an intuitive user experience.

At its core is the combination of ease of use, standard compliance and scalability. Even without in-depth AAS expertise, Digital Twins can be structured, created, edited and published efficiently. At the same time, compliance with IDTA standards ensures interoperability and seamless collaboration across organisational boundaries.

twinstudio provides a central, visual overview of all assets, including search, filter and status functions, and supports data exchange via common formats such as JSON, XML and AASX. Its direct integration with twinsphere and external repositories ensures smooth connectivity within existing system landscapes.

Key features include the Twin Builder for creating and editing AAS and submodels, the Template Designer for managing submodel templates, the Blueprint Editor for scalable Digital Twin strategies, and a centralised management of semantic descriptions. This is complemented by a Submodel Template Repository for versioning and sharing templates across teams and organisations.
