The SFA Power Supply 24V provides an isolated voltage to supply the decentralized peripherals in the industrial environment. The integrated energy management provides the voltage to four contact points with a high degree of protection, such as M8 and M12 socket, with standardized pin assignment. The outputs have different priorities and can therefore be used in the system planning to ensure system availability.
In addition, all device-internal parameters such as voltage, current and device temperature are monitored and controlled, which contributes to a high level of system and device safety. This means that an overload or short circuit in a segment can be detected, switched off and signaled. During this time, other segments continue to be supplied with sufficient energy. A brief overload capacity of the outputs is possible when the system starts up.
The device is designed for both single-phase and symmetrical two- or three-phase operation. The “intelligent” Power Supply 24V is not application-specific and has a high power density.
