With a continuous temperature measurement range from 950 °C to 2450 °C, New Xi 05M is the world’s first compact IR camera of its kind – ideal for demanding metal applications such as molten metal monitoring and foundry processes.
Thanks to its short-wavelength spectral range of 500–540 nm, the Xi 05M is perfectly suited for metallic surfaces and liquid metals. The camera enables accurate tempera-ture readings even in the presence of intense glow and reflections. With a resolution of 396 × 300 pixels and a high-speed linescan mode of up to 500 Hz, it delivers reliable data even in dynamic processes – and can, in many cases, replace traditional dip lances entirely.The Xi 05M is not only efficient but also highly versatile: It features Ethernet or RS485 output, supports autonomous operation, and provides direct analog alarm outputs. The included PIX Connect software offers extensive analysis functions, including hot spot detection, web server capabilities, and support for industrial network protocols such as Profinet and EtherNet/IP.
