As machinery and industrial components become increasingly connected, cybersecurity is becoming a key issue in mechanical and plant engineering. The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces new requirements for products with digital elements and makes the systematic assessment of cybersecurity risks an important part of product development.

We support machinery and equipment manufacturers in understanding the applicable CRA requirements and in systematically evaluating the cybersecurity risks relevant to their products. As part of a Cyber Risk Assessment, we analyse aspects such as interfaces, communication paths, software, network connections, user access and potential attack scenarios.

Based on this assessment, appropriate technical and organisational measures are derived and documented in a transparent manner. The aim is to integrate cybersecurity into engineering, product development and technical documentation at an early stage and to create a robust basis for meeting the requirements of the CRA.
