SALES ASSISTANT (M/F/D) IN SHIPPING/EXPORT

JOB PROFILE
• Excellent commercial shipping knowledge and in-depth understanding of customs and export controls
• Solid knowledge of preferential trade rules, tariff classification, and letter of credit processing
• Proficiency in using export- and customs-related platforms
• Excellent communication skills when interacting with internal and external contacts

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Independently handling commercial shipping, customs, and export procedures
• Verifying the legal admissibility of export transactions and making independent export decisions
• Assessment of dual-use items, export restrictions, embargoes, and licensing requirements
• Tariff classification, verification of preferential origin, and responsible application for export licenses
• Letter of credit processing, transportation coordination, and document preparation, as well as coordination with customers, freight forwarders, customs, BAFA, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK), and project managers
