Production-integrated leakage and flow testing
Products that are used in environments exposed to moisture or harsh environmental conditions must meet a variety of requirements. These include thightness against dirt and moisture. The requirements are described in the definition of IP protection classes. These IP protection class tests are type tests of samples in the laboratory. But what happens if during the production of large quantities the manufacturing conditions in the production line do not correspond to those of the type sample or change gradually and this has an effect on the tightness of the products?
When leaky products are delivered, it is too late to take corrective action. For this reason, many products are tested for leaks during production. This ensures the quality of each individual product
