IEF-Werner GmbH, an automation specialist for components and systems based in Furtwangen, is setting the course for the future: Jürgen Noailles will join the management team on 1 September 2025. He will gradually take over from Manfred Meyer, who will retire at the end of 2026. Until then, Meyer will accompany the handover and provide support with his many years of experience.
‘In challenging economic times, an orderly handover is particularly important. I am delighted to be able to actively shape the process and pass on my knowledge,’ emphasises Meyer, who, together with Stefan Deck, most recently as a duo at the helm, has helped shape the development of IEF-Werner GmbH for many years.
Jürgen Noailles brings with him extensive experience in the automation industry. Before moving to Furtwangen, he was managing director at Stein Automation in Niedereschach. ‘IEF-Werner has a unique, innovative product portfolio – I would like to get to know you and your products personally and look forward to working with you all in the future,’ Noailles explains at the official presentation.
With the strengthening of its management team, IEF-Werner is setting the course for the coming years at an early stage. In addition to a broad portfolio of handling components – including linear drives, servo presses and manual adjusters – the company develops customised automation systems such as palletisers, transport systems, wheel measuring machines and positioning systems. Forty-five years after its founding, IEF-Werner now employs around 120 people and supplies solutions for a wide range of industrial applications worldwide. The transition phase between Meyer and Noailles ensures continuity and stability, while at the same time the new managing director brings fresh impetus to the management team. IEF-Werner is thus sending a clear signal that it is committed to sustainable growth and technological innovation, even in challenging market phases.
