Simulation Core Developer – FluidDraw and FluidSIM (m/f/d) Career Level: Computer Science, Natural Science, or Engineering (STEM graduate) with several years of professional experience Employment Type: Full-time, part-time possible Location: 32052 Herford + remote office https://www.configon.com/karriere/simulation-core-developer

Tasks:
Further development and maintenance of the Modelica-based simulation library

Interface maintenance and expansion for integrating the simulation core into other software solutions

Application of scientific principles to improve simulation accuracy

Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of simulations through testing and validation

Optimization of algorithms and data structures to improve simulation performance

Required profile:

Completed degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field

Sound knowledge of simulation principles and their mathematical foundations, particularly in the area of numerical methods

Strong scientific knowledge in the field of fluid systems

Very good knowledge of the C++ programming language

Experience with algorithms and data structures, particularly in the area of optimization

Familiarity with graph theory and its applications in simulation

Knowledge of Modelica and its application in simulation development (understanding of compiler construction and related technologies)

Very good written and spoken German and English skills
