About us
Fascination with technology - Optonic is a leading provider of 2D and 3D image processing and control solutions for industrial automation. Since more than 30 years, we have been developing, producing and distributing optical systems for inspection, measurement and robot control tasks for the electronics, pharmaceutical, automotive and automation industries, among others.
Products for camera-guided robotics, our MIKADO division, are a special field of business. Here we offer everything from simple software for finding parts in 3D to complete bin picking software including path planning. In addition to the systems, we also offer the programming of these and thus give integrators and end customers security in achieving technical requirements within the time and cost budget.

Mikado Control - Bin Picking
With our integrated path planning, we can control all common robot types in the industrial environment. Even in the collaborative field, we have already integrated many robots that get eyes through us. No matter which robot, programming is a thing of the past with Mikado. Due to the graphical user interface, all bin picking processes can be easily parameterized in Mikado.
Mikado Find
With Mikado Find we offer our customers a lean software from the MIKADO product range for the recognition of 3D objects. The point cloud of any 3D stereo camera from our ensemble range is searched for a CAD model. With Mikado Find we offer a complete package of camera and software for the recognition of 3D objects. The point cloud of any Ensenso 3D camera is searched for the CAD model. Position, orientation and matching score of the found parts are provided via the integrated OPC-UA interface.
